Customer Service Representative
Description Robert Half Lexington is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join a team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. In this Contract to permanent role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing reservations and delivering exceptional service. This position offers an opportunity to work in the dynamic hospitality industry while utilizing your organizational and problem-solving skills. These openings are for a 2nd shift type schedule of 2p-11p Sunday-Thursday, with Friday and Saturday off! Apply today to be considered! Responsibilities: • Process and manage reservation requests ranging from 1 to 10 room-nights to meet client needs effectively. • Ensure all reservations comply with client policies, including budget, amenities, and location preferences. • Respond promptly to client inquiries and complete requests within established deadlines. • Utilize analytical skills to identify hotel options that align with business financial goals. • Accurately input reservation details into the system to maintain data integrity. • Apply knowledge of the hospitality industry and regional markets to provide tailored solutions. • Maintain clear and detail-oriented communication with clients to address outstanding requests and resolve issues. • Handle modifications to reservations, such as extensions or early departures, with efficiency and attention to detail. • Collaborate with internal teams to recommend preferred hotels and optimize client satisfaction. • Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and procedures. Requirements • A minimum of 6 months of experience in customer service or a call center environment is preferred. • Strong problem-solving abilities to address client inquiries effectively. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Competence in navigating computer systems and performing data entry tasks. • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving work environment. • Displays high levels of initiative, punctuality, and accountability in daily tasks.
