Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. This Contract to permanent position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a key role in supporting customer needs and maintaining strong relationships with dealers. Responsibilities: • Handle a high volume of inbound calls daily, ensuring prompt and detail-oriented communication. • Process customer orders efficiently, including entry, placement, and updates on order status. • Collaborate with dealers to address inquiries and coordinate solutions, ensuring customer satisfaction. • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all customer interactions and transactions. • Utilize company-specific software to manage orders and track inventory, with training provided. • Work closely with team members to ensure seamless operations while also working independently when needed. • Assist in organizing files and maintaining a well-structured system for easy access. • Prepare reports and summaries as required to support business objectives. • Adapt to varying workloads and schedules, including occasional adjusted hours during the week. • Maintain high standards in both communication and attire, especially when clients are present. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or a related field, with strong communication skills. • Ability to handle a high volume of inbound calls and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Business Vision software is a plus. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records. • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when necessary. • Outgoing and personable demeanor, with a focus on building relationships. • Willingness to adapt to schedule changes and work occasional extended hours. • Business casual attire required, with appropriate dress expected when meeting clients.
