Customer Service Representative Location Grinnell, Iowa Apply Now (https://phf.tbe.taleo.net/phf02/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=KEYCOOP&cws=37&rid=390) The Customer Service Representative assists Key Cooperative in the management of customer relationships that result in optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximizes profits while performing the following duties. Quality of Work + Provide Key Cooperative with customer service by handling customer inquiries, order taking, and other assigned duties. + Properly weigh and grade grain deliveries as needed. + Understand customers, their needs and buying habits; inform customers of programs and product promotions. Service Response Times + Manage inbound and outbound shipments to specified locations as required. + Promptly answers all phone calls, voicemails and electronic communications. Team Support + Responsible for preparing transfer documentation and bill of ladings; assist with scale operations when needed. + Responsible for maintaining the inventory of office supplies. Customer Service + Take the initiative in providing outstanding and courteous customer service. + Project a positive attitude and image to customers and employees at all times. + Promote and supports all of Key Cooperative's products, services, and programs, and builds positive goodwill with current and prospective customers. Other Responsibilities + Records and keeps track of all required information to support accurate reporting. + Accept additional responsibilities and duties as directed by your supervisor. + Excel daily personally and professionally. + Read and follow company employee policies. + Knowlege of Microsoft Excel & Word. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Has the ability to learn and understand machinery operation and dry material handling, and to learn grain elevator operations on the job.
