Customer Service Representative
Description We are looking for a motivated and adaptable Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a contract opportunity, offering a chance to grow within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely assistance. • Manage and resolve customer concerns by troubleshooting basic issues related to products or services. • Process and enter customer orders into the system with attention to detail. • Handle inbound and outbound calls to address customer needs and follow up on requests. • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless customer support during peak seasons. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word to maintain records and generate reports. • Demonstrate a proactive approach in identifying and resolving potential customer issues. • Assist with basic troubleshooting of mechanical tools and systems when necessary. • Maintain a meticulous and friendly demeanor while working in a high-volume call environment. Requirements • Prior experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for data management and reporting. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical and technical issues. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly. • Capability to manage high call volumes during busy periods. • Availability for consistent hours, including occasional training sessions.
