Description
Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our client's team in the greater Portland area. This long-term contract position involves supporting the Account Management department by ensuring smooth communication and efficient coordination between internal teams and external partners. The role requires a proactive individual with strong multitasking abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
• Develop effective relationships with assigned Account Managers.
• Track and trace daily account activities to ensure timely updates and accurate reporting.
• Manage paperwork exceptions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and procedures.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, coordinating effectively with associates and vendors.
• Respond to inbound and outbound inquiries via phone and email, providing detailed and timely assistance.
• Handle order entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.
• Coordinate vendor relationships to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues.
• Engage in face-to-face interactions with associates and external partners to address concerns and build rapport.
• Maintain regular onsite attendance to support team objectives and ensure seamless communication.
Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service or a related role.
• Proficient in answering inbound calls and managing email correspondence.
• Familiarity with scheduling and coordinating appointments, including booking and confirmation.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and record maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
• Comfortable interacting directly with associates and vendors with attention to detail. TalentMatch®
