Customer Service Representative
Job Title: Customer Service Specialist Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break) Training: Hands-on training provided by management. Training duration is approximately one month, during which the specialist will learn to operate medical equipment and navigate the internal computer systems. Job Summary: The Customer Service Specialist is responsible for managing the front-end service process to ensure a positive experience for patients. This role involves handling inbound and outbound communications, processing orders, and providing support related to respiratory equipment. Key Responsibilities: + Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls and emails in a timely and professional manner. + Obtain, analyze, and verify the accuracy of information received from referrals. + Create and process orders, schedule patients for equipment delivery, and ensure all documentation is accurate. + Route calls to appropriate departments and follow up on customer inquiries as needed. + Collaborate with Respiratory Department staff and Program Managers to provide service and troubleshooting for respiratory equipment. + Educate patients and caregivers on the proper use and care of respiratory equipment. Skills & Qualifications: Required: + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Minimum of 1 year of experience in healthcare administration, insurance, billing, call center, or customer service. + Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written). + Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail. + Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively. + Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer systems. + Ability to learn new technologies and understand system workflows. + Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment. + Adaptable to a fast-paced and changing work environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
