Description We are looking for a skilled Logistics Clerk to join our team in Chula Vista, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth operations across customer service, shipping functions, and office procedures. This position requires someone who excels in communication, coordination, and problem-solving.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate shipping and logistics processes to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Manage purchase orders, credit approvals, and supplier communications to support operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and account management, to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• Liaise with stakeholders, including C-suite executives and suppliers, to facilitate seamless communication and negotiation.
• Oversee materials handling and facility operations to ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to shipping, financial notes, and customer accounts.
• Train and support team members in office functions and procedures to enhance productivity.
• Monitor quality standards and implement improvements to optimize customer satisfaction.
• Handle call center operations and queries to provide timely resolutions. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, logistics, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in office functions, including documentation and communication.
• Familiarity with shipping processes and materials handling.
• Excellent negotiation and liaison skills, particularly with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage purchase orders, credit approvals, and financial notes effectively.
• Solid understanding of account management and customer support.
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal, to handle queries and specifications.
