Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role involves providing exceptional support to consumers by handling inbound calls and addressing healthcare-related inquiries with care and attention to detail. Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, this is a remote position, and all necessary equipment will be provided.
Responsibilities:
• Handle a high volume of inbound calls, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to consumer inquiries.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding sensitive healthcare topics in an attentive and empathetic manner.
• Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company products, competitor offerings, and market trends.
• Document all customer interactions and profiles accurately in the company's systems, adhering to established procedures.
• Identify potential sales opportunities during service calls and collaborate with the Consumer Sales team to drive results.
• Meet or exceed established performance metrics, including call volume, quality, and documentation standards.
• Conduct reporting tasks as required and complete other assigned duties.
• Stay informed about internal and external business operations, including competitor activities.
• Maintain a structured and organized approach to managing tasks and responsibilities. Requirements • An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or a combination of 2–4 years of experience in healthcare customer service or sales.
• Previous experience in a call center sales environment is preferred.
• Strong ability to explain medical processes and procedures clearly and concisely.
• Proven skills in navigating difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to enhance customer relationships and drive sales.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with intermediate computer skills.
