**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Customer Support Rep (CS Rep) provides high-quality, quick and accurate, supply chain support to, ROI Members (Mercy Supply Chain Customers & ROI Commercial Customers) through proactive solutions and decision making as well as requisition processing, daily product sourcing, vendor purchase order negotiations, purchase order placement, confirmation follow up, and expediting of purchase orders for products and services for the Mercy Consolidated Services Center (CSC) as well as all Mercy entities. The CS Rep is responsible for daily customer and vendor relationships both within and outside of the organization.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ The Customer Support Rep performs the duties of the purchasing buyer when the customer has an urgent request.
+ Provides front line support to ROi customers regarding supply chain related issues.
+ Provides the first tier of support for other ROI teams such as Purchasing, CSC Inventory Management, CSC Operations, Transportation, Customer Pack Solutions, Capital Purchasing and Local Supply Chain.
+ Provides immediate purchase order assistance to Mercy supply chain customers as well as ROi commercial customers.
+ Coordinates the procurement of sub items when the vendor is out of stock on an item through sourcing to other manufactures.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ High School Diploma Required
+ 1+ year(s) of experience in as a Supply Chain Customer Support Coordinator or a similar customer support contact center position role Required
+ Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
+ Strong basic computer skills especially within the Microsoft Office Suite General business knowledge and skills
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Excellent problem-solving skills
