Customer Service Representative

Indorama Ventures Hygiene - Covington site is part of the hygiene – fibers vertical and applications for products include diapers, fem care products, geotextiles, and numerous other nonwoven products.

 

 

Role and Responsibilities Customer Service Representative will proactively resolve customer issues, process customer orders, and provide a positive experience for Indorama Customers

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person (if safety allows) to build rapport and provide ongoing support and account information.

Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments. Ensures high level of customer satisfaction.

Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.

Updates prices, forecasts, and prepares various reports for sales managers.

Fields customer questions and complaints; processes manufacturing orders (SAP system).

Provides support to sales and logistic teams; communicates regularly with counterparts in Denmark, China, and Thailand.

Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to track and resolve customers problems and concerns (e.g. returned material, credits, quality complaints).

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Supports and participates in cross functional meetings to support day to day activities; in addition to supporting new ERP system 

Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous customer service experience preferred.

Preferred Skills Language skills: english

Mathematical skills: proficient

Physical demands: prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer must be able to lift up 15 pounds at a time

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and active listening.

Professional and courteous telephone skills.

Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Strong attention to detail and follow-through.

Ability to work accurately with mathematical concepts such as fractions and percentages.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Must have a high level of initiative/energy.

Customer Service certificate with post-secondary education preferred.

Import & Export experience preferred.

Fluency in Spanish a plus.
