Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Midland, Texas. This is a Contract-to-permanent position offering an excellent opportunity to grow within the utilities and infrastructure industry. The role involves interacting with customers, managing service operations, and handling administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities: • Answer and manage incoming customer inquiries via phone and email promptly and professionally. • Dispatch technicians to service calls and coordinate schedules effectively. • Create and maintain accurate service tickets for all customer interactions. • Prepare and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. • Perform data entry tasks with precision, including updating customer records and service details. • Monitor and manage inventory levels of equipment and supplies. • Collaborate with team members to resolve customer issues and improve service processes. • Utilize Microsoft Excel and Word for documentation and reporting purposes. • Assist in managing vendor invoices and related documentation. • Support the service desk by troubleshooting and resolving basic customer concerns. Requirements • At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or related role. • Proficiency in data entry and 10-key typing skills. • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email correspondence tools. • Familiarity with creating and managing service desk tickets. • Ability to process vendor and customer invoices accurately. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. • Adaptability to embrace change and think creatively in a fast-paced environment. • Technical aptitude and a willingness to learn new systems and processes.
