Customer Service Rep II
Description We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative II to join our team in Houston, Texas. This is a long-term contract position requiring excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth operations within our logistics and customer service functions. Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a courteous and meticulous demeanor. • Handle billing processes and validate revenue accounting tasks to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Support onboarding activities for new customers and assist with procedural training. • Respond to and resolve customer complaints efficiently while adhering to company policies and risk management practices. • Collaborate with suppliers and other business units to ensure seamless communication and operations. • Assist in managing call center operations, ensuring high levels of efficiency and customer satisfaction. • Apply decision-making skills to resolve issues and adapt to changing circumstances effectively. • Maintain and update validation plans and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Address public relations inquiries and support commission-related functions as needed. • Uphold company procedures and ensure all tasks align with business goals and objectives. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a logistics or related field. • Familiarity with Texas deregulation processes is considered a plus. • Strong understanding of billing, revenue accounting, and risk management practices. • Proficiency in handling customer complaints and delivering satisfactory resolutions. • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. • Experience in call center operations and public relations is advantageous. • Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic environments and make informed decisions.
