Job Description

Perform Pricing Analyst duties for Ocean, Air & Road Cargo Pricing with Vision, leadership, energy, professionalism and support, in conjunction with the Pricing team leader.

Maintain adherence to Expeditors’ policies and procedures while displaying and communicating Expeditors’ goals and culture.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Assess incoming pricing requests with all relevant information and documentation;Coordinate and review pricing received from branches and product teams in order to secure high quality and competitive submissions to the customers;Conduct final quality and proposal preparation before submission including sanity checks and benchmarkingEnsure all proposals are keyed-in into Expeditors system as per internal SOP, in addition to customer platformEnsure systematic follow-up on all outgoing quotes, and feed-back recording into Expeditors systemEnsure all awarded quotes are properly handled and communicated for effective shipment execution and invoicing purposesManage deadlines set by customersKeep in close contact with Account Owners in order to escalate any issue and/or seek support when neededSupport team leader on monthly reporting and review with account management TeamSupport team leader in preparing and organizing quarterly quoting Activity reviews with customersBuild up strong relationship with all key internal stakeholders (such as branch pricing and product), in order to achieve smooth and efficient communicationBuild up strong relationship with customers through quote follow-up, via email, online messaging or phone conversationTake initiatives within the team to propose improvements in process or communication

Qualifications1 to 5 years related working experience in logistics Language:  written and spoken English (advanced); any other language will be a plusAbility to manage multiple deadlines and projects, working well under pressureKnowledge and understanding of international logistics operations and pricing across multiple modes (in particular air, ocean & road)Pro-active, strong organizational skills, detail orientedEffective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive resultsAdvanced computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)Strong customer service oriented attitude
