CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
In the Performance Materials Division, we develop innovative plastics and foams for all kinds of applications. Whether it is for cars, buildings or sports goods – we always look for the ideal material solution. To do this, we work closely with our customers: from production and logistics to research and sales, all the way to component testing, design consulting and simulation.
RESPONSIBILITIES Provide excellent customer service to dedicated customersSupport customers along the whole OTC processMonitor the fulfillment of your customers orders and react in case your customer satisfaction is at riskRepresent your customers interests within BASF by managing your customers’ complaints and deliver professional answersCooperate with various departments locally and abroad (sales, finance, logistics, transport)Be a high-end administrator by ensuring a proper level of documentation in the system and a document flow that goes in line with company and legal standardsQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor or Master degree in Business Studies, Logistics, Supply Chain Relevant professional experience at least 1-3 yearsExperience with the SAP R/3 system, mainly in the SD moduleCustomer orientation and team work abilitiesStrong communication skills and ability to work in international environmentAbility to troubleshoot and rapidly shift multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentFluent English and additional one of the languages: Swedish, Dutch, Slovak, Portugeese, Czech, French, Italian, Hungarian, Spanish, Romanian, Maroccan, Turkish, German, Serbo-CroatianBENEFITS We send out with non-standard benefits: EAP Employee Assistance Program, VIP medical care, Lunch Pass card, day off for volunteering and transportation allowanceYou will also find: free insurance packages, co-financing of the MultiSport card, development programs and a number of free on-line courses (our total offer can be found here)You can count on: gaining experience in a leading chemical company in the world, Work Life Balance, the possibility of using remote workAt work, our values are important to us: innovation, openness, flexibility and attractivenessABOUT USAt BASF, the chemistry is right.
