Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide consistent and friendly customer support
• Efficiently and accurately handle POS transactions
• Process payments including customer credit cards, cash, and checks; conduct other financial transactions like giving and receiving correct change
• Generate daily reports and reconcile daily closing
• Handle incoming calls and perform light cleaning duties
• Acquire a deep understanding of the current product range
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and secure work environment
• Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure all orders meet Sales Department submission criteria
• Examine delivery tickets and assign them to the appropriate route based on destination, shipment size, customer time constraints, and other customer requirements for each delivery location
• Monitor driver, truck, and route efficiency by ensuring each truck is fully loaded
• Arrange shipments to reduce reliance on external drivers
• Assign specific trucks to each route based on volume and equipment availability
• Keep a detailed daily dispatch log with all essential delivery information
• Dispatch orders accurately for the designated arrival time and place
• Address any issues that may arise with drivers or customers
• Evaluate and prioritize information, make decisions, and resolve problems efficiently
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed
• Generate Sales Orders for sales team members requesting deliveries
• Perform other tasks as required
Work Experience
Essential Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience in customer service
• Minimum 1 year of call center experience
• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Basic understanding of Word/Excel/Outlook
• Self-assured, customer-oriented, and professional demeanor
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• Fundamental math skills with keen attention to detail
• Flexible availability for shift work, including weekdays and Saturdays
• Reliable transportation and a valid State driver's license
