D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for anCustomer Service Assistant in the Warranty Department. The right candidate will act as the point of initial contact between the homeowner and the company regarding customer service issues. Complete data entry and the processing of warranty repair request and service reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist customers, trades, and field personnel over the phone Act as a liaison between the Customer Service Department and homeowners Act as a liaison between homeowners and the Customer Service Manager and Coordinators Ensure the entry of all incoming and outgoing work order requests, POs, and basic letters Maintain and create customer history and reports Answer incoming phone calls and put them in contact with the appropriate personnel to resolve problems Prepare the orientation and walk-through booklets Maintain the department inventory as well as homeowner’s files Process field representatives' status of ongoing work Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
