Ecolab is seeking a Customer Service Agent I to join our team in (City, State –if applicable). As a Customer Service Agent I, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers and team members. In this fast-paced, people-first role, you’ll be the voice of Ecolab, helping customers and field associates resolve issues, place orders, and get the support they need. You’ll handle a high volume of inbound calls with empathy and efficiency, making sure every interaction reflects our commitment to service excellence. 

 

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

Take 160–190 inbound calls from customers and field/sales associates across two divisions 

Enter orders, service requests, and delivery inquiries quickly and accurately 

Handle 60–100 calls per day with professionalism and empathy 

Process literature requests and provide helpful product information 

Troubleshoot dispenser system issues and support field staff with technical questions 

Keep detailed records of each interaction while staying engaged with the customer 

Use your knowledge of Ecolab products, tools, and systems to guide customers 

Escalate complex questions to the right internal teams when needed 

Help onboard and coach new team members when opportunities arise

Minimum Qualifications: 

High school diploma or equivalent 

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software (Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook) 

Experience using customer service software 

No immigration sponsorship available for this position 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree completed or in process 

Experience accurately typing a minimum of 25 words per minute 

Prior experience interacting professionally with others and working independently in a fast-paced environment 

Prior experience utilizing a multi-line telephone system 

Strong problem solving and interpersonal skills 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Highly dependable team player 

Prior experience prioritizing workload and completing responsibilities on time 

Fluent in  

SAP knowledge
