Customer Service is the critical link to strong communications between the sales field and Matco Tools corporate offices. You will provide the infrastructure which supports our franchised distributors, District Managers, Regional Managers and commercial customers. You will play a significant role in the completion of daily work driving customer satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

\n\nMonitor emails from internal and external sources; respond appropriately \nReview and enter credits submitted by CSRs, field personnel & suppliers\nProblem solving to reduce waste and increase productivity\nWork with distributors, field and internal personnel to resolve toolbox warranty claims\nInput orders and credits using internal ordering software systems\nProvide phone coverage in the Customer Service department as needed. \nWork cross-functionally with all Matco personnel and suppliers to resolve open requests\nLearn and perform new tasks as needed\n\n

  WHO YOU ARE

\n\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\n1+ years of experience in the Matco Customer Service department\nKnowledge of internal Matco systems, policies and procedures\nLocal candidates to home office will be expected to maintain a hybrid working model. \n\n

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

\n\nBasic use of PC and keyboard\nSuccess profile score per Wonderlic screening test. \nBasic knowledge of Excel, Word and Adobe (PDF)\nEffective verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to interpret customer issues coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and translate issues into resolution while maintaining a positive attitude\nAbility to empathize with customer concerns while maintaining a professional demeanor\nAbility to learn quickly on the job\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment\nFlexible and adaptable to changes in workload/schedule\nAbility to work independently and prioritize daily duties\nMaintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail\n\n
