Job Description
The Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for facilitating and coordinating all services to ensure customer satisfaction and support the company and Management Team Members. Responsibilities are assigned by the Customer Relations Manager while proactively ensuring smooth team operations and effective collaboration.
ResponsibilitiesMaintain confidentiality in all aspects of customer, vendor, and staff information.Promote and maintain sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.Identify and assess customer needs to achieve satisfaction.Maintain communication between all departments to ensure production plans support customer promise dates.Work closely with purchasing to ensure availability of components to meet purchase order requirements and quoting initiatives.Identify and resolve issues to ensure supply continuity and adherence to customer delivery schedules.Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and follow up to ensure resolution.Execute customer orders, including price review, delivery, and release requests from receipts to entry into the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Analyze customer open orders, forecast, and shipping requirements.Maintain updated information for purchase orders, price, and revision changes in ERP.Manage the shipping schedule, shipping documents, and ensure pick-ups are met.Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries as required.Support the training of Customer Relations Associates and foster a team environment that encourages engagement and collaboration.Follow Policies and Procedures of the Quality Management System (QMS).Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience in providing customer service support.Experience within the Manufacturing Industry.Experience with an ERP system (Epicor Preferred).Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills.Demonstrates patience, empathy, and a great attitude.Ability to interact with staff at all levels and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software, such as MS Office suite.At least 3 years of experience providing support and the ability to handle a wide range of external and internal customer support and related tasks.Able to work independently with little or no supervision.Work Environment
Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, fully onsite. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, fumes, or airborne particles. The company is currently growing and offers opportunities for career development, having recently moved to a brand new facility in Allendale, NJ.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $60320.00/yr.
