Thin Films Customer Quality Manager

You will be leading the next generation of Thin Film precursors and SOD materials to enable the innovation to the digital age. This position is open to candidates based in Tainan and Kaohsiung, in close proximity to Thin Films site within Taiwan, and offers a hybrid work model. 

 

Your Role 

Thin Films Customer Quality Lead in Taiwan:Lead the success of Thin Films products’ quality with customers in Taiwan Lead and manage successful completion of Taiwan customers’ quality initiatives with global, diverse workforceBe the technical communication bridge between sites globally and customers to understand their needs and where can help them advance their technology forward. This may include developing tactical and strategic roadmap items to address immediate and future needsBe the owner of customer engagement between sites and customers for quality issues: enable site capabilities while ensuring site meets developed rubrics and customer expectationsCollaborate with Account Team to deliver world class results to the customersLead customer taskforces to ensure customer trust in company technical aptitudeBe the voice of the customers to the sites globally and supplier quality specific suppliers for SOD and Thin Film precursor materials. Develop strategic relationships with regional customers to build a trusting long-term, strategic partner with the customer contactsFoster and develop key broader industry relationships to enable company quality brand image and capabilities.  Be the key input to technical and commercial risk analysis of new product and change implementation by participating in site change management review; Provide technical support for customer PCN submission and approvalReview, approve, and communicate customer OCAP (Out of Control Action Plan) report provided by production site for product CoA OOC(out of control), OOB(out of boundary), OOS(out of specification), HH/HL ( Historical high/Historical low) casesBe the key stakeholder in troubleshooting and problem solving of customer quality issues; Review and approve 8D report with high power factor corrective and preventive actions(CAPA)Develop automated visualizations and data dashboards to update status and key success indicators

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of Bachelors degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Material Science, or other Technical discipline 10+ yrs or more in chemical manufacturing, process engineering, control engineering, analytical chemist, or semiconductor fabrication experience5+ years of successful Customer Engagement ( Semiconductor customer preferred)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

     

5+ years in process, integration, or yield engineering in semiconductor fabs; Thin Films or SOD experience preferred.

Solid statistical knowledge (SPC, t-test, ANOVA, multivariate modeling).

Proficient in JMP, Palantir Foundry, Python, and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).

Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).

Experience in process improvement, data automation, and digitalization.

Basic to moderate knowledge of CVD/ALD precursor delivery systems.

Effective team collaborator with cross-functional and multicultural experience.

Proven track record in project execution and process optimization.

Familiar with quality tools (5 Whys, FMEA, MBPS), CI, MOC, and document control.

Knowledge of ISO 9001; internal auditor certification (ISO 9001/IATF 16949) a plus.

Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification preferred.

SAP experience.

Willing to travel occasionally for customer engagement.
