ABOUT THE ROLE

The Avalon DC supports the Australian business across all channels for stores, online and wholesale. With forward thinking operating practices and some of the best equipment and facilities in the industry, this is an opportunity to impact a world class facility and team. 

The Customer Planning Manager leads the partnership between DC operations and our Brands to deliver world-class service to customers. 

This position frequently connects with Brand Merchandise, Visual Merchandise and Retail leaders to align on operational needs. You will be their key point of contact for all distribution updates and feedback channels.

The success of this role rests in the ability to effectively communicate and influence across our multiple brands and provide them with the distribution support they need.

An understanding of apparel retail is a preference in order have commercial conversations with our stakeholders, adding to the success of this role and offering opportunity for broader scale impact.

A solutions focused leader is essential for this role as we navigate an ever-changing retail environment, always keeping the customer experience at the heart of our decision making.

 

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate will have leadership experience from a high-volume, complex retail background and feel comfortable in delivering world-class service to our retail and merch internal customers.

You will apply industry best practice to our evolving operations while protecting Group DNA

You will be a key member of the senior leadership team and provide an internal voice for the DC within retail meeting environments and regular timely communication to our merch partners.

Being a team player who can influence peers and communicate clearly and concisely in order to build the trust from the wider team.
