About the role: 

The Customer Operations Analyst will serve as the lead resources for Integration projects for US Spirits Customer Operations.  The role will lead detail analysis of Customer orders in SAP and order management activities including blocking orders, cutting, swapping, and releasing orders.

The role will allow for analytical thinking, sharing standard methodologies, and ensuring appropriate alignment with cross functional teams.  The Customer Operations Analyst will foster great service to the broader Customer Operations team through order management and delivery to customers.

Role Responsibilities:

Champion great service to our Distributors by collaboratively working across the functions.

Ensure consistent delivery of product from the Diageo warehouses to the Distributors.

Actively run ships and open orders in line with Batch Jobs; multiple times a day.

Ensure orders are in line with order guidelines.

Identify discrepancies on ships and open orders based on the guidelines and action timely. Lead appropriate communications and expectations.

Proactively address and communicate issues identified with key stakeholders.

Provide critical support functions to the OTC process.

Financial Responsibility:

Ensure that data is accurate as it impacts the total US Markets shipped annually.

Maintain, monitor, and influence the results of relevant key performance indicators across service, cost, cash, and quality.

Understand and take appropriate action to lead cost impact of order violations, order expedites, and other actions taken to deliver service against operational constraints and budgets.

Drive the ongoing development and refinement of Customer Operations processes and metrics to drive continuous improvements and efficiencies in service, cost, cash, and quality.

Key Outputs:

Monitor and ensure accurate flow of product from Diageo to Distributors.

Ensure Distributors adhere to order guidelines and proactively recommend order management.

Proactively handle orders not within guidelines and correct in SAP.

Qualifications and Experience:

2+ years of experience in customer service, supply chain planning or logistics roles within the beverage alcohol industry or a fast-paced CPG company

Degree in supply chain, business management, or related fields

Experience in order management systems (preferably SAP)

Solid capabilities in MS Office Applications – particularly Excel

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal and external customers across various levels of the organization

Demonstrated ability to build strong customer relationships and manage customer expectations

Proven analytical capabilities and problem solving skills
