Overview The role Customer Insights Manager (Walmart & Giant Tiger) - Insights reports to the Sr Customer Insights Manager, Walmart within the Customer Insights Team. This position contributes to PepsiCo’s category success by applying foundational knowledge of the category and best practices against retailer objectives, strategies, and opportunities. This person will translate business data to compelling insights, identify opportunities and develop fact-based recommendations that support achievement of both the retailer and PepsiCo sales and profit objectives. The Customer Insights Manager is responsible to provide on-going assessment and monitoring to determine the effectiveness of various business tactics. Responsibilities Customer Engagement: Establish strong working relationships to increase depth of understanding and build trust with retail partners via regular touch points Category Insights: Analyze business trends and segment performance to identify opportunities to effectively drive category sales and profit Growth Drivers: Evaluate assortment, shelving, pricing and promotion to influence the retailer execution strategy and/or JBP/CDA process Space Evaluation: Examine shelf space measures and propose a shopper friendly planogram, adhering to merchandising standards Presentations: Synthesize category, consumer and shopper insights to deliver a clear and concise story leading to fact-based and actionable recommendations Capabilities: Leverage a solid understanding of the analytic process and tools to support the successful achievement of category management and sales agenda Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (Business/Economics/Social Sciences degree preferred) 4+ years relevant CGP experience, with an understanding of grocery retail merchandising Strong ability to pull disparate pieces of data together for a cohesive and insightful category story Strong presentation and storytelling skills High proficiency in the use of Excel, Power Point Experience with Nielsen data an asset #LI-Hybrid #PepsiCorporate
