The Customer Excellence Government Pricing and Contracting Sr Mgr will be a part of the Customer Excellence team in the Innovative Medicine Transcend Program. Being part of this highly complex multi-year business and technology transformation initiative, the Customer Excellence Government Pricing and Contracting Sr Manager will be part of the foundational development of a fit for purpose backbone that will enable Innovative Medicine future needs with agility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Be Innovate Medicine subject matter authorities for Government Pricing and Contracting to drive global S/4 HANA core capability standardization, alignment, and adoption.
+ Ensure alignment with Transcend future state designed blueprint.
+ Map the End to End Government Pricing and Contracting journey including interactions with upstream stakeholders such as commercial sales and account management teams, global pricing, tax and finance.
+ Act as a Change Champion within Pricing community, stakeholders to drive standardization and process harmonization globally.
+ Design, build, validate and deploy Government Pricing and Contracting processes around the Globe ensuring integrity with the global template.
+ Have Global and Business focus and mindset with sound reasoning in all activities including handling partner concerns of issues and business risks, developing solutions and risk mitigation strategies.
+ Compose Business Process changes aligned with the future state of Government Pricing and Contracting ecosystem architecture to meet Innovative Medicine Business needs
+ Lead and manage the execution of day-to-day operational Business Simulation
+ User Acceptance testing activities to ensure that clear acceptance criteria are defined to support Government Pricing and Contracting, Bids & Tenders, Rebates, Chargebacks and other Pricing processes.
+ Provide insights and support for all training and compliance documentation and set process for ongoing updates.
+ Maintain in-depth business process knowledge and expertise and ensures knowledge center documentation.
+ Develop and implement a standard approach applying standard testing tools
+ Support quality compliance system validation and change control processes to ensure ongoing compliance state and good practices.
+ Build advance analytics and recommend metrics that ensure accuracy, timeliness and governance.
+ Monitor metrics process using technology and ensure regional adoption. Gather input from key functional stakeholders, Voice of Customer surveys, and community of practice participants.
+ Lead a team of 2 to 5 people and own people and performance management process for reporting team
+ Regularly communicate to Deliver Leadership team and Contract Management & Pricing Regional leads on project updates, process changes, business issues and opportunities
**Qualifications**
**Education:**
+ Minimum of Bachelor’s degree is required; focused degree in Supply Chain, Data & Analytics, or related field is preferred
**Experience and Skills:**
**Required:**
+ A minimum 8 years of relevant work experience
+ Pharma or Life Sciences Commercial Contracting business experience required; minimum 5 years preferred.
+ Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of partners required.
+ Global perspective, Business Acumen, and Customer Focus
+ Business process design, engineering, or optimization
+ Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with shown ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result.
+ People management and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment.
+ Regional leadership or remote/virtual people management experience.
+ Business knowledge of areas such as Commercial Contracting, Bids & Tenders Management, Price Operationalization, Rebates & Chargebacks, Financial Controls
+ Experience in testing methodology.
+ Strong analytical skills, and business savvy with strong appreciation for standard methodologies and governance.
+ Proven project management experienced
+ Ability to optimally lead and govern functional decision-making bodies.
+ Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates.
+ Experience handling to project timelines and achievements in complex business environments.
+ Skilled at engaging and establishing relationships with senior business partners.
**Preferred:**
+ Experienced knowledge of Janssen Commercial Contracting business processes/requirements.
+ Experience designing, developing, implementing, a business process decomposition or blueprint
+ Experience with ERP systems such as; SAP
+ Familiarity with Innovative technologies around automated processes (e.g., Robotic Process Automation, Chatbots, Natural language voice recognition)
**Other:**
+ Process Excellence training and/or certification
+ This position may require up to 30 % of domestic or international travel; limited travel at the early phase of the wave and more frequent travel as the program is coming close to go live date

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$120,000 USD- $207,000 USD
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees and/or eligible dependents are eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
