About the role:

Customer Development Managers (CDMs) report to a Channel Manager, and work closely alongside NAPA Branch Managers to build successful business relationships with target customers within their territory. With a sales focus, they work to proactively find solutions to customer problems and are responsible for the sales and gross margin performance of their territory.

Duties include:

Solve customer problems through consultation, relationship building, and understanding customer needsResponsibility for sales and gross margin performance of your territoryAttend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessionsAchieve sales budgetsDeveloping new business (business development and account management)Foster and drive a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it homeSafe driving behaviours

Note, this role will require lifting, bending, climbing & safe driving.

Who we’re looking for:

An engaging, strong communicator, with sound negotiating skillsSolutions and service focussedTrack record in account management or business developmentThrive in a KPI driven environmentSales and/or customer management experience (automotive industry preferred)Ability to liaise and build relationships with customers and company stakeholdersExperience using CRM systemsA valid Australian driver's licenceA passion for all things automotive
