Summary/Objective: The Customer Compliance Specialist’s primary responsibility involves supporting Account Operations in the day-to-day operational oversight for customer compliance. Within this position, you will engage with internal and external customers, offering support, data gathering and resolution of issues while disputing any penalties that are accessed. This role is critical in understanding customer compliance requirements and the need to support and customer business relationships. Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Document, research, and report all occurrences of non-compliance outlined in various customer vendor guides. Ensure that penalties are reviewed, disputed, and recorded within the appropriate customer timeframe. Act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of Customer Compliance- compliance metrics, penalty schedules, dispute resolution, monthly or weekly penalty updates, outbound requirements, etc. Assist in resolving customer issues and ensuring customer satisfaction. Engage with internal sales and operational teams as often as needed to address potential issues, improve processes, and prioritize penalty improvements. Complete ongoing security awareness training and comply with company policies. Working Conditions: Primarily working indoors, office environment. May sit for several hours at a time. Prolonged exposure to computer screens. Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers. Qualifications: High school degree or GED Essential Functions: Document customer penalty reports and dispute penalties assessed by the customer. Ensure customer requirement manuals are accurate and up to date. Update penalty reports monthly or as needed. Help navigate business choices around penalties that are both agreeable for the business but also in compliance with our customer requirement manuals. Competencies: Deals with change and ambiguity well; adjusts and alters behavior when change occurs so priorities are still met. Ability to work with a diverse team and influence change across functional and business boundaries Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Navigate various customer portals i.e., Traverse, Supplier Hub, Salesforce Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Organizational skills. Must be a self-starter and able to manage time appropriately. Ability to be professional and concise in communications. Must foster an environment for continuous improvement. Supervisory Responsibility: This role does not have supervisory responsibility but will help support training oncoming team members. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk, hear, and use their hands to operate a computer and other office equipment. This position primarily involves sitting or standing at a workstation, with occasional walking to meetings or other areas within the office. Specific vision abilities required include close vision for computer work, as well as the ability to adjust focus. Team members should be able to lift at least 15 pounds. When working from home, you are expected to be on time, and performing the entirety of your shift. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time hourly position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager. Travel: Travel will be minimal and will be primarily local during the business day. Preferred Education and Experience: 2+ years’ experience in Customer Service, Order management and/or Office Administration experience Warehouse operation experience is a plus but not mandatory Additional Eligibility Qualifications: None.
