The opportunity:
AIA are seeking a results-driven and collaborative Customer Communications and Marketing Manager to join our high-performing team on a 6-month contract based in Melbourne or Sydney. This role is critical in leading customer communication initiatives and supporting high-profile retail insurance projects.
You’ll bring strong experience in managing customer communications, a creative and solution-focused mindset, and the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing people together to deliver outstanding work.
To do this successfully you will:
Plan, develop and deliver integrated customer communications across multiple channels in support of key retail life insurance initiatives
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including Product, Compliance, CX, Operations, and Distribution teams to ensure accurate, timely and customer-focused messaging
Manage communications delivery timelines, approvals, budgets and reporting to ensure high-quality execution and compliance with brand and regulatory requirements
Review and audit existing customer communication journeys to identify opportunities and implement solutions that improve clarity, engagement and customer experience
Apply customer insights and data to develop engaging communications that drive understanding and improve customer experience
Work with creative and digital partners to develop innovative communications and content asset
Identify communication risks and opportunities, and proactively recommend solutions to enhance customer outcomes
Successful applications will demonstrate:
Experience in a Customer Marketing or Communications Manager role preferably within the life insurance industry
Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills – confident in engaging, influencing and aligning diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver to tight deadlines
Strong creative judgement and ability to translate complex information into clear, customer-friendly messaging
Commercial acumen and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindset
