Kforce has a client that is seeking a Customer Authentication Engineer for a remote role (must work Central or Eastern Time Zone). Candidates must provide their own equipment; VDI access provided. Summary: Our client is seeking a Customer Authentication Engineer to support and enhance the company's identity and access management systems. The Customer Authentication Engineer will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing customer authentication journeys using modern security and orchestration tools. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in identity and access management (IAM), preferably within a regulated or financial environment, and be proficient with tools like Okta and orchestration platforms such as Transmit and Ping DaVinci. Responsibilities: * Manage and operate customer authentication and security systems to ensure strong protection for customers and internal environments * Design and support identity journeys including username/password flows and multi-factor authentication * Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deploy and maintain IAM solutions * Integrate and configure identity providers such as Okta or Auth0 * Utilize orchestration platforms like Ping DaVinci, Transmit Security, and Strata Identity * Write and support code in Java and JavaScript to enhance authentication services * Maintain system security within a cloud environment, with AWS being a plus
