Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Custom Panel Shop Foreman to oversee the execution, quality control, and coordination of all custom panel projects. This Forman will be reporting to the Manufacturing Project Manager while overseeing a team of Panel Build Technicians. In this role you will be responsible for managing shop personnel, ensuring efficient project workflows, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This position requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of industrial equipment, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The working schedule is a 4-day 10-hour shift with the opportunity for overtime and is 100% onsite. The compensation range for this role depends on years of experience and will range anywhere from $30-40/hr with the opportunity to convert to full time employee.

Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial equipment, or automation systems
- Experience overseeing a team while providing technical direction and management
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, safety guidelines, and assembly instructions along with experience writing reports
- Experience laying out panels/enclosures, wiring cables and reading drawings
- Experience wiring control panels per wiring diagrams schematics and pictures
- Working knowledge of UL508a, UL698, and NEC standards for panel building
- Strong understanding of Electrical Panel controls
- Experience working with Low Voltage electrical systems
- Capable of presenting information and responding to questions in a professional manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Experience with cloud platforms and version control tools
- Knowledge of DACI or other production management methodologies
