About this Job
LSU Health New Orleans Division of Facility Services is seeking highly skilled and motivated applicants for the position of Custodian Supervisor B.
Starting rate of pay for this position is $17.18 per hour, may be adjusted dependent upon applicants’ qualifications. There is also an additional $1 Longevity Pay for hours worked only.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
+ Supervise the cleaning of campus buildings
+ Inspections regularly on a varying schedule to improve levels of housekeeping and to reduce complaints from campus population
+ Plan, gives instruction on and inspects the completion of: a) special set-up requests; b) providing manpower during events; c) clean up after events
+ Process payroll time sheets weekly; b) process leave requests daily; c) counsel employees for both outstanding and unsatisfactory job performance; d) conduct new employee evaluation, training and counseling throughout the probationary period
+ Manage work orders
+ oversee the drawing of supplies by individual employees from respective building storage area(s); b) perform weekly inventory of supplies in housekeeping closets in assigned building(s) to ensure correct usage; c) initiate requests for equipment or supplies issued by the storeroom.

+ This is a Civil Service Position. This position does not require applicants to take a Civil Service test.

+ This position will require selected applicant to be in a probationary status for at least 6 months.
