Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Custodian to join our team! In this role, you will support the Faro Mine Remediation Project by performing custodial tasks to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in working areas, washrooms, and other premises such as offices, apartments, or houses.
Qualified local candidates, candidates willing to relocate to Faro or those who are available on a 2-week fly-in/fly-out rotational basis are encouraged to apply.
This position begins on a Temporary Fixed-Term basis with the potential to move to a regular, full-time role in the future, based on performance and workload.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Clean and maintain working areas, washrooms, and premises in an orderly condition. Perform tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, polishing floors and metal fixtures or trimmings, dusting equipment, furniture, and fixtures, removing trash and other refuse, and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms. Manage and replenish cleaning supplies. Remove debris in and around facilities as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent 3+ years of experience Must be able to stand for long period of time Ability to lift up to 20 kg Valid class 5 driver’s license Proven ability to concentrate, pay attention to detail, organize, priority set and be a team player Proven understanding of safe work practices and mitigating risk Ability to work with little supervision and function in a multidiscipline environment This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
