The mission of the Louisiana Veterans Home is to primarily serve the Veterans’ population of Louisiana through the provision of medical, restorative, and rehabilitative services in an atmosphere of respect and compassion. The primary objective of the home is to provide quality nursing care to eligible veterans with the ultimate goal of returning the veterans to the highest possible levels of physical and mental capacity.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Strips, buffs, waxes, and disinfects all floors.
+ Responsible for the care and maintenance of the equipment.
+ Cleans, mops, disinfects, dusts, and sweeps when needed.
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: Probational or Promotional
Compensation: This position is eligible for retention pay (per hour worked).
