Curriculum Delivery Manager
**Role Description** We are seeking a talented Delivery Manager to oversee the successful execution of product and project deliverables for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of leadership, product development, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills. As a member of the school-dedicated team, the delivery manager will lead a development team to work with teachers and administrators to identify and prioritize school needs, develop their solutions, and test, validate, and deliver the solutions to our school customers. This role will be vital to fostering strong relationships, driving positive change, and managing teams. **What will you be working on?** + Deeply understand context of features (created by Product Management) in order to effectively break down, create and refine user stories with development team members, and clearly articulate functional and non-functional requirements and user story acceptance criteria. + Facilitation of team ceremonies including daily stand ups, development team backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and system demos. + Lead and oversee the successful delivery of products, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the quality standards and requirements as defined by the Product Management team. + Effectively communicate work in progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, accommodating and negotiating their needs while ensuring precise alignment with organizational goals and priorities. Responsible for visually representing tasks and milestones of team deliverables. + Support your team in change management by providing context and helpful information, particularly during pivots in work. + Validate and accept team’s work, supplying required artifacts to satisfy User Story Acceptance Criteria to support Product Managements feature acceptance. + Track and socialize team performance goals and metrics, including team velocity and capacity, to manage healthy team backlog and work in progress. + Lead and inspire project teams, fostering collaborative and result - driven culture. Promote effective and transparent communication across teams and stakeholders to grow, win, and serve our customers. + Prioritize commitments with the development teams while taking product feedback into account to deliver the highest level of return on investment. + Rapidly identify, communicate, and escalate problem areas (risks and impediments) with appropriate urgency and develop creative solutions to overcome obstacles, ensuring timely team deliverables. + Identifies dependencies collaboratively, swiftly addressing and removing blockers as they arise. + Generate regular reports on project status, highlighting achievements, next steps, risks and recommended actions, and overall health of the project or product. + Comfortable leading teams of individuals over whom you have no formal authority - holding individuals accountable to committed actions and deadlines in a collaborative and constructive manner. + Facilitate creation of, maintain, and hold teams accountable to ways of working. + Creating and maintaining proper tool hygiene to represent your team's work including User Story creation and acceptance, team backlogs, and team dashboards **Location:** This role works on a remote model and has the flexibility to work from home, flexibility in working hours may be required to cover all time zones across the US. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree or 3 to 5 years of job-related experience (preferably in the role of scrum master, project manager, or product owner) that provides the necessary knowledge, skill, and abilities to perform the functions of the position. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts throughout the entire life cycle of a product. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required. + Experience collaborating with or managing fully remote teams is required. + Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to rapidly identify issues and develop creative solutions. + Experience managing teams without formal authority, effectively coordinating and motivating individuals towards project success. + A clear, customer-centric understanding of PVS products, authoring tools, and business context and complexity to communicate requirements and scope clearly to development team members. + Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. + Proficiency in the use of diverse development and management frameworks, preferably Agile. + Ideally you will have a passion for education and/or experience working in an educational environment, preferably within curriculum development or educational publishing. **Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State, and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:** **The full-time salary is $92,000 - $97,000 per annum, dependent on experience and is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.** _Applications will be accepted through 15th September 2025.
