Culinary Director - Corporate B&I

Job Summary The Culinary Director is responsible for shaping and executing the culinary vision across all foodservice outlets within a B&I account consisting of six micro restaurants, multiple 24/7 self-checkout locations, local restaurant partnerships, a coffee shop, a third-floor café, complimentary snacks and beverages, a delivery program, and an extensive catering operation. The role demands mastery of fine dining standards, innovative menu development, and the ability to inspire high-performing teams across multiple venues. Key Responsibilities: + Leads seasonal menu development, local sourcing, and fine dining execution across all units. + Maintains standards for all Food Programs, workplace and food safety protocols. + Oversees execution of executive dining and VIP events with a focus on flawless service and presentation. + Guides culinary teams in executing creative pop-ups, tastings, and chef demos. + Builds and manages vendor relationships emphasizing sustainable, locally sourced ingredients. + Partners with clients to support initiatives in sustainability, waste reduction, and packaging. + Provides culinary training programs focused on skill-building, presentation, and leadership. + Ensures compliance with safety, sanitation, and food quality regulations through audits and regular training. + Manages kitchen workflows and food/labor costs to meet financial goals. + Acts as primary culinary liaison for client leadership, maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships. + Collaborates with marketing to promote new food concepts and collect feedback for continuous improvement. Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus formal culinary training. + Minimum 10 years of culinary experience, with 8+ in leadership roles and 5+ in menu development. + ServSafe and Choke Saver certifications. + Strong experience in fine dining, executive catering, and B&I foodservice operations. + Excellent communication, team leadership, and client-facing skills. + Proven ability to manage P&L, labor, procurement, and inventory controls. + Proficiency in MS Office and culinary software platforms.
