DescriptionTo function and perform as an ambassador of Food and Beverage Department and head of the Hosts/Hostesses in the outlets while ensuring the upkeep of communication within the Food and Beverage and Culinary Department.

Key Responsibilities●      Set an example by reporting to duty punctually wearing business attire according to the hotels dress code & Kempinski grooming standards, maintaining a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene always ●      Provide a professional and courteous service always and ensure that all employees follow the example ●      Be knowledgeable of all services and products offered by the hotel ●      Attend daily or weekly Food & Beverage meeting  ●      Hold weekly/daily meetings with hosts/hostesses of the outlets, schedule and coordinate trainings for hosts/hostesses ●      Assist operationally when required, especially during operational peaks or seasonal festivities and minimum once a week to ensure the upkeep of knowledge in the various outlets and departments ●      Seek ways to assist the outlet management maximizing their revenues and profits ●      Monitor and analyze the activities and trends of competitive restaurants, bars and other hotels banqueting departments ●      Respond to any changes within the Food & Beverage department as advised by the hotel management ●      Attend all events happening in the hotel (Weddings, Corporate Events and Social Events) ●      Attend to all relevant staff meetings and hotel trainings.●      Collaborate with hotel concierge, guest relations, front office to maximize capture of in-house guests  ●      Work in close relation with all front departments in the hotel ●      Monitor and report the quality and guest satisfaction with the given tools (K.E.A and other Customer Satisfaction Surveys) ●      Assist in handling of guest complaints ●      Ensure all hostesses maintain collection of database and prepare report of the same ●      Promote the Outlets within the hotel and in town in all marketing communication channels provided by marketing department ●      Monitor promotions and report the same to Department Head/Assistant and respected outlets while attending to Food and Beverage Departmental meetings ●      Attend to sales calls promoting Food and Beverage Outlets and ongoing offerings ●      Prepare reports of reservation system ●      Maintain guest portfolios and share the same ●      Prepare guest feedback reports and courtesy calls, share the same with the department
