Job DescriptionVisa Corporate IT (CIT) group has embarked on a major transformation journey to become a true engineering organization where customer experience and end user support are paramount. We are consolidating our Operational functions to provide world-class support to our end users. As a member of the Corporate Technology Support Team, the CTS QA Specialist will be responsible for implementing comprehensive testing frameworks and automation solutions that enable rapid, accurate, and agile testing of workstation environment releases. The successful candidate will be technically proficient with excellent customer service skills.
The CTS QA Specialist must possess a solid understanding of End User Support technologies for PC and Mac OS platforms, along with expertise in QA methodologies and automation tools including Automation Anywhere, PowerShell, Python, Bash, and AppleScript. This role focuses on designing, automating, managing, optimizing, and building test cases to ensure defect-free releases to the workstation environment. Automation is the cornerstone of this position, directly impacting the end user experience and optimal workstation environment performance. The successful candidate will be evaluated on their ability to increase test coverage through automation while reducing manual testing effort, and on the quality of automated reporting systems that clearly demonstrate test case success rates for change control meetings.

Comprehensive Test Automation: Develop, implement, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks using Automation Anywhere, Python, PowerShell, and AppleScript
CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing throughout the release lifecycle to include:
Automated Test Execution: Configuring tests to run automatically whenever code changes are pushed or new builds are created
Pipeline Integration: Embedding test scripts directly into deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.

Functionality Testing: Conduct thorough testing for all workstation releases including patches, software releases, drivers, policies, and other deployments for both PC & Mac environments
Patch and Driver Testing: Rigorously test patches, drivers, and BIOS updates to ensure zero negative impact on application performance or functionality
Regression Testing: Implement automated regression test suites to quickly validate that new changes don't break existing functionality
Reporting & Analytics
Automated Reporting: Design and implement automated reporting solutions that provide real-time visibility into test execution results and quality metrics
Change Control Documentation: Generate comprehensive test summary reports for change control meetings, highlighting test coverage, pass/fail rates, and risk assessments
Trend Analysis: Develop dashboards to track quality trends over time and identify recurring issues for proactive resolution
Collaboration & Process Improvement
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with development and IT teams to identify and resolve issues efficiently
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest QA technologies and best practices to continuously enhance testing processes
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain thorough documentation of test scripts and processes, and actively share knowledge with team members

QualificationsBasic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Minimum of 4 years of relevant QA experience with emphasis on automation
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks
Extensive experience in a QA environment focusing on UI and system testing
Proficiency with Automation Anywhere and ability to create complex automation workflows
Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and AppleScript
Experience supporting both Windows and MacOS environments
Expertise in generating automated test reports and dashboards
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems
Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
