Responsibilities: Technology Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the long-term technology roadmap in alignment with business goals. Stay ahead of healthcare trends, compliance and regulatory landscapes. Evaluate and implement third-party tools and platforms that enhance organizational efficiency and impact. Scalable Systems: Architect and scale high-performance, secure, and compliant platforms capable of handling exponential user and data growth for research and development. Support AI driven development to better support our research towards child mind health Team Leadership: Build, scale, and mentor world-class engineering, DevOps, and data teams. Encourage and support a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning. Operational Excellence: Implement agile processes, rapid deployment pipelines, and efficient engineering workflows to move swiftly yet cautiously. Ensure that systems run at their optimal best both from a performance and availability perspective. Product Collaboration: Partner with Product and Design to translate customer needs into scalable, intuitive solutions. Security & Compliance: Ensure best-in-class cybersecurity practices, data governance, and regulatory compliance (e.g., Payment Card Industry [PCI], Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act [HIPAA] etc.). Executive Leadership: Serve as a trusted technical advisor to the Chief Operation Officer and the leadership team. Ability to communicate technical vision clearly to, Research, Science, R&D and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications: 10 years of progressive engineering leadership experience in large, matrixed organizations with non-profit, medical or research-intensive environments. 3 years as a senior tech leader in the data, development, research or academic related industry. Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams. Expertise in building scalable, distributed systems and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/OCI/GCP). Strong familiarity with modern development frameworks, CI/CD, microservices, and data architectures.
