Courses taught may include introduction to criminal justice, police and the community, and law enforcement. The program has a new criminal justice lab, and the teacher will advise the school’s SkillsUSA program. Candidates must have a current Law Enforcement teaching license or a relevant industry certification/license, degree, or five years of industry experience related to law enforcement. Additionally, the work-based learning (WBL) endorsementis preferred, but not required.
