CT Technologist (CSC - Imaging) - Casual

Regardless of the role, we recognize that every member of our team is vital! The CT Technologist operates computerized tomography (CT) to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies. This role elects appropriate imaging techniques, operates console, and peripheral hardware. The person in this position is familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of patient care.

CT Technologist Overview

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs CT exams per physician orders or as advised by radiologistWorks alongside other health team providers including physicians, residents, fellow, nurses, radiologists and other ancillary staff to provide effective, efficient quality service/care and follow standard protocols to complement interpretation and diagnosisReports statistically significant findings to radiologists/residents/referring physicians as necessary to patient careDemonstrates ability to provide applicable care/service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level of population servedModifies and individualizes care/service plan to meet patient/customer needsProvides patient/employee education based on assessment of learning needs of learnerMinimum Qualifications:Associates degree or graduate of an accredited radiologic health science program and ARRT registered, RT(R)Technologists not holding a CT credential will need a minimum of 2 years documented continuous CT experienceAbility to establish IV access proficiently and safely across a dynamic range of patients

Hours: Casual

You can expect to pick up at least one shift every month. Shifts vary from 8.5 hours to 12.5 hours.

Compensation:

35.41 - 51.35 USD Hourly
