Work Schedule:

Rotating daylight, evening, and overnight shifts. Two 8-hour and two 12-hours shifts per week. Rotating weekend shifts and team-divided holiday coverage hours. NO on-call or travel!

Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education, at manager discretion.

Applicants with at least 6 months of experience are eligible for our Night Program ($4.00 shift differential) and our Weekend Program (additional 15% incentive to salary)! Details can be provided during the interview process!

 

 

 
Responsibilities:

Performs computed tomography procedures, including contrast administration, and utilizes complex imaging equipment for the acquisition, analysis, and documentation of image data. Ensures all exams within area of responsibility are properly coded and tracked through RIS system, all exams are properly networked to ISITE for archiving and interpretation, and all charges are adequately entered for the exams performed. Administers PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders/department policy and assesses patients for potential risk factors prior to the administration of the contrast. Demonstrates the ability to communicate instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner, and explains procedures to help allay the patient’s fears and solicit their cooperation. Demonstrates a strong ability to interact with both patients and co-workers, while displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect. Able to work as a team member within the department and all other departments to expedite patient care efficiently. Identifies all patients properly by using two patient identifiers. Reviews patient history and assesses physician orders, and documents patient history in electronic record, as required. Demonstrates proper technique in venipuncture.
