Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary based on individual experience and education.
Applicants with at least 6 months of experience are eligible for our Night Program ($4.00 shift differential) and our Weekend Program (additional 15% incentive to salary)! Details can be provided during the interview process!
Responsibilities:
Performs a variety of CT procedures, including contrast administration, and practices and maintains CT safety and protocol at all times. Administers any contrast required for imaging procedures and assesses patients for potential risk factors prior to administration. Demonstrates proper technique in venipuncture, including proper use of power injectors. Uses two patient identifiers to identify all patients and documents patient history. Ensures all exams are properly coded and tracked, all patient information is updated and documented, and all charges are entered correctly in appropriate systems. Interacts and communicates with both patients and co-workers while displaying a high level of caring, listening, dignity, and respect. Communicates instructions to patients in a clear and concise manner, and explains procedures to help allay the patients’ fears and solicit their cooperation. Able to work as a team member within the department and all other departments to expedite patient care efficiently.
