Job Description
We are seeking a proficient CT Technologist responsible for operating the CT scanner to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop skills in specialized areas within a supportive hospital environment.
ResponsibilitiesOperate the CT scanner safely and proficiently.Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning.Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions, and start an IV line to administer contrast fluids.Transport patients to and from the department.Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.Essential SkillsRadiologyRadiologic technologyImagingAdditional Skills & QualificationsTechnical or Associate’s radiography degreeRegistered or registry eligible with the ARRT (must maintain registry while employed)BLS certificationExperience with X-ray and CT technologyWork Environment
Join a 656-bed hospital featuring state-of-the-art facilities such as The Alexander Burn Center and the Oklahoma Heart Institute. Work hours are Sunday to Tuesday from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with alternating Wednesdays. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
