Job Description
The CT Technologist will be responsible for greeting patients in the waiting room, explaining the examination process, and answering any questions under provider supervision. You will also manage and evaluate completed tests for quality, completeness, and type of test ordered to ensure the delivery of quality images. Additionally, you will be responsible for requesting and ordering supplies as necessary to always keep materials on hand, and for selecting and operating equipment as directed.
ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and explain the examination process.Answer any questions patients may have under provider supervision.Request and order necessary supplies to maintain inventory.Evaluate completed tests for quality and completeness.Ensure quality images by selecting and operating equipment as directed.Essential SkillsARRT, CAT SCAN, CT certification or completion of a certified CT program.ARRT or NMTCB license with required paperwork to perform diagnostic CTs on file with the state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate’s degree preferred.Training in computer-assisted tomography.Work Environment
The work schedule offers flexibility with multiple shifts available: Monday to Friday (two evenings) from 3 PM to 11:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 12-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM, or Saturday and Sunday (two 12-hour night shifts) from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role is based in a dynamic hospital setting, providing a valuable opportunity to learn and grow within a large private hospital environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $85.00/hr.
