In addition, will perform all CT procedures. Maintains records of examinations performed. Obtains and documents patient clinical history. Participates in on-call rotation. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Acts as supervisor for CT, coordinating patient and staff schedules, maintaining QI/QC, modality meetings, and equipment maintenance. Assists radiologists in developing and implementing protocols and processes in CT. Maintains the flow of work for patients, technologists, and students. Assures medical records are maintained with respect to patient confidentiality, security and completeness. + Assures personnel are scheduled to provide adequate coverage during all hours of operation using flexible staffing when appropriate. Works with Scheduling to ensure availability and quality of service. + Assures accurate time and attendance records are kept and reported in a timely manner. + Evaluate staff on a daily basis to ensure that they are providing Excellent Customer Service and supporting a favorable Patient Experience. + Schedules and performs interviews for approved Radiology positions, making recommendations for hiring as needed. Participates in the recruitment, responsible for selection of employees, orientation, evaluation and termination of personnel. + Documents performance issues.
