As Market Access New Product Launch Lead within our Market Access Team you will support the CSE MCO strategy setting and implementation to achieve rapid and efficient market access for Sanofi's new products. You will adapt the global pricing strategy to the local level and develop sustainable pricing strategies over time. Additionally, you will optimize pricing conditions for new products. This role involves being the main contact for Market Access and Pricing issues related to specific products and geographies. Your role will be to collaborate with Global, MCO, and Local cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and address any related concerns.
Main responsibilities:
Supports market access & payers strategies with strong understanding of payers drivers, anticipation of payers objections, and deep knowledge of market access stakeholders for “new products” in the given geography.
Together with the MCO MA Head and MCO New product launches Head, supports the CSE MCO strategy setting and implement Market Access strategies, plans and tactics for products and solutions throughout the lifecycle to ensure optimization of the recommendations, prices and access in line with the business priorities and strategic “new products” ambitions.Pre prepares analysises on which the commercial decisions are taken in relation to prices, recommendations, and funding include Market Access perspectives. Manages the approval flow for all price decisions and prepares the submissions for price, recommendations. Will also support key X-indication initiatives, to optimize the “new product” value and promote Excellence in Execution at the given geography.Supports evidence generation related to Market Access and ensure alignment with the business priorities, needs of the market, and the Global Brand StrategySupports the development of early Market Access potential for the “new product” portfolioSupports and participates the relevant MCO and Global negotiations together w the MCO MA Head and MCO New products launches Head.Maintain an expert level understanding of relevant recommendations, pricing and funding criteria used by payers in the market to make informed decisions about Market Access strategies, plans and tactics. Actively scans the environment, including legislative, for emerging trends and identifies future risk withing the SANOFI TRT concept in the given geography for “new products”.Health Economic and Value Assessment analyses
Together with the Global HEVA and MCO MA Head, responsible for the health economic and broader value assessment of the different “new products” and solutions to drive evidence-led decision-making for the given “new product” in the given geography in order to optimize positioning of products’ value proposition with payers and influencers of the given geography.Together with the Head of MA MCO promote, implement and live a culture of innovation in HEVA, including a clear view on data sourcing strategy through to best in class methodology adoption and development including AI tools for the given geographical perimeter and “new products” portfolio.Ensure cross functional interaction and collaborate transversally
This role supports the function and together w the MCO MA Head and MCO New product launch Head works transversally across the company to ensure alignment with the relevant functions (e.g. Corporate Affairs, Medical, R&D as appropriate) and that trade-offs can be made from the point of view of the company for “new products” launches.This role collaborates transversally across units, actively participates in the Sanofi Market Access community at MCO level in defined strategic projects, sharing best practices.People development requirements
Actively participates in clear and timely communication, roll-out, and training of the strategies, tools, and tactics.Have in depth knowledge of legislation related to pricing, reimbursement, rebates, prescription of medicines, etc.Anticipate and live the culture of leadership and work with leaders and GTMC to ensure all technical capabilities are adapted in the function. About you Education: Education: Master’s degree e.g. in health economics, pharmacology or similar preferably complemented with an MBALanguages: Fluency in English (written and spoken)Technical skillsKnowledge of existing and emerging market access stakeholders and influencers for Pharma products (e.g. recommendation decision-making and process, tenders, public or third-party financing) and understanding of the evolutions/implications for businessExperience in scenario analyses (e.g., target patient population options, price/access trade- offs, co-payment sensitivity and portfolio optimization modelling into price and launch sequence recommendations) related payer value proposition, evidence requirements, pricing and access potential for each scenario to maximize commercial potential.Profound knowledge of the success metrics of how the value proposition are delivered to payers (i.e., requirements to command certain benefit ratings, P&R outcomes, reimbursement coding)Understanding of Payers value drivers and anticipation of Payers objectionsLearning agility in development of integrated market access & Payers strategies and plans, aimed at delivering the product differentiation most relevant to payersTrack record of delivering payers relevant tools with positive measurable impactsExperience of health economics analysis and how the value proposition is delivered to key recommending bodies and payersSoft skills:Continuous learning mindsetProven ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively with cross-functional partnersExcellent communication and storytelling skillsStrong negotiations and influencing skillsPursue Progress.
