We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic CSE Engineer, System who provides technical expertise on how to optimally integrate KONE solutions into customer building interfaces. Building interfaces are, on-site (in-building): mechanical, electrical and software. Non-site-related interfaces are: related to cloud-, mobile- and third-party equipment interfaces. He/she understands how customer needs are translated into system integration needs and/or opportunities.What will you do?
Collaboration with sales:
Responsible for finding the optimal building integration capability to meet the customer’s needs for non-standard and modernisation casesResponsible for designing electrical, software and APF Solution interfaces (e.g. cloud integrations, network, IoT and data interfaces)Participates in customer meetings and answers customers’ technical questions when neededSelects the correct integration platform on which to make the offeringProposes solutions from all KONE business lines; new services, escalators, elevators, doors etc.System integration plan – Costing:
Involves Advance People Flow (DCS, Access Control and other people flow integration), KONE IT, R&D, sourcing and other relevant parties to understand the integration total cost during setting up and during operationCoordinates building integration lead times for Advanced People Flow, KONE IT, R&D, local sourcing and other relevant partiesSolution plan – Compliance:
Ensures that the proposed system integration fulfils local codes, regulations and safety requirementsEnsures that the proposed system integration solution fulfils connectivity, network architecture, access control systems, IoT and cyber security requirementsEnsures that the planned system integration complies with KONE engineering policyProvides the required details to the CSE Specialist for ordering materials and completing the documentation processProposes change order (variations and add works) sales opportunities to the Project ManagerProvides system integration-related information to Project Managers, Installation Supervisors and Maintenance SupervisorsCoordinates and executes the integration testingSolution plan – Maintainability:
Ensures that the proposed system integration method fulfils the customer’s product lifecycle needsIdentifies deviations from standard maintenance methods and ensures that a resolution is foundCSE Engineer, System role in the KONE SEB process :
Shares knowledge with maintenance as neededParticipates in major system upgrades verification and validationsGeneral responsibilities:
Participates in product and new services release information-sharing sessionsProvides technical trainings to Sales, Installation and Maintenance as per Front Line needsProvides input to CSE Engineer, Solution; CSE Engineer, Product and CSE Engineer, ProjectProvides details and definitions to CSE SpecialistsOffers input to the product offering management about interface requirements for the portfolioContributes to the Customer Solutions Engineering virtual and local networkContributes to and utilises the Customer Solutions Engineering case libraryIs the primary FL contact person for KONE IT, SL and Advance People flow for system integrationsAre you the one?
