As the CSA Product & Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the daily execution and optimization of Correspondent mandatory loan purchase operations. This position partners closely with the Lead Mandatory Buyer and Head of Mortgage Pricing to develop and implement pricing strategies that maximize profitability and volume. The role also supports Correspondent Regional Account Managers in onboarding new clients, assists in price point determination through analysis of revenue forecasts & business performance, assists with rate sheet distribution, and provides additional analytics support to the broader mortgage pricing team.
Primary responsibilities include
Mortgage Loan Purchase Bid Tape Management & Trade ProcessingManage and process daily hybrid mandatory bid tapes and purchased loan pipelines.Ensure timely and accurate execution of mortgage whole loan trades and settlements.Monitor pricing competitiveness and execution performance across counterparties.Strategic CollaborationWork directly with the Lead Mandatory Buyer to refine pricing strategies and optimize trade execution.Analyze market trends and investor behavior to proactively identify opportunities and risks arising from competitive, regulatory and other internal and external factors.Participate in pricing and profitability huddles to align with broader Capital Markets goals.Client Onboarding & RAM SupportAssist Regional Account Managers in onboarding new clients by providing pricing insights and operational support.Deliver analytical support for client-specific pricing scenarios and investor comparisons.Analytical & Technical SupportPrepares analytics and reporting in support of key committee-led business and pricing decisions and executive-level presentations.Assist Capital Markets Analytics team in development and maintenance of reporting dashboards used to track pricing performance and loan sale profitability.Leverage Tableau, Excel, MCT and Polly PPE to visualize trends and support decision-making.Use Python, SQL, and R-Studio to automate data workflows and enhance pricing analytics where appropriate.Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Required Qualifications3+ years of experience in mortgage origination capital marketsAdvanced Excel skillsetAdvanced SQL skillsetStrong data analysis and abstract thinking skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure trading environment.Preferred QualificationsUndergraduate coursework with a focus in STEM and/or Finance/EconomicsProficiency with MCT (Mortgage Capital Trading) and Encompass loan origination systems.Experience with Tableau, Python, R-StudioHours & Work Schedule
