Cross Functional Team Leader
The Cross Functional Team Leader will Oversees technical leadership within a cross functional team , Advises customer technical and project personnel, Handles both external and internal stakeholder requirements for new products / features / technology developments. # General Responsibilities + Oversees technical leadership within a cross functional team + Advises customer technical and project personnel + Handles both external and internal stakeholder requirements for new products / features / technology developments + Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses + Leads system specifications and formalized representations of solutions (for example, flow charts, models) to develop systems that meet customer needs + Systems Architecture development with roadmaps to increase feature sets, reduce cost, pursue integration opportunities and increase quality + Advises internal Sensata sub system design teams to refine implementation of products / features / technologies & specifications to ensure they meet stakeholder’s needs + Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework used across multiple products or systems # Experience / Qualifications + A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) with at least 10 or more years of experience, or equivalent relevant work experience of at least 14 or more years. + Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands + Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation + Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results + Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity + Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards + Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) + Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers **Additional Job Description** **ROLE SPECIFIC** + Leadership of a cross-functional engineering team to execute development activities according to agreed development processes. + Collaboration with Application and Platform Development teams to integrate products into customer-focused solutions. + Ensure that the team are suitably organized and have capacity to deliver quality solutions to time and quality targets. + Provide guidance and facilitate the team to address challenges and issues as they arise. + Communication of project status to internal and external stakeholders. + Collaborating with Functional Team Managers to support training and personal development of team members. + Support preparation of technical offering and development quotes for new business opportunities. + Review and reporting of Systems Development KPIs. **ROLE GENERIC** + Establish department and team performance measures and KPI’s that improve effectiveness and meet goals and customer commitments on time to the required specification. + Regularly report on Team performance. + Develop and manage budgets. + Facilitate team building, motivation, morale and employee commitment. + Performance manage the department, providing leadership and guidance to team leaders. + Ensure adequate technical support and training and development plans are in place and review regularly. + Ensure effective team working, continuous process improvements, information and planning systems. + Lead by example and manage the overall implementation and maintenance of all operational procedures. **GENERAL** + Demonstrate and promote Sensata’s values in behaviours and actions. + Produce and promote the highest standard of work possible in accordance with the company’s IATF16949, OHSAS 18001, ISO14001, Sarbanes Oxley, Lean / 6s standards and any other standards that the company adheres to. + Work as a member of a team helping to implement, carry out and drive compliance of all company working practices and Health, Safety and Environmental procedures. + Comply with all Sarbox controls throughout the organisation and understand and meet the key controls that are directly related to your day to day functions + Develop, review, update, manage and ensure compliance with Sarbox documentation. + Address and report all remediation action and co-operate with all Sarbox auditing activities.
