CBDC Clearance Team Senior Analyst - Cross disciplinary Controls The Clearance Team Sr Analyst within the Cross-Border Data Clearance (CBDC) team helps Citi's businesses meet data transfer requirements that arise from data privacy, bank secrecy, country outsourcing and data localization regulations. The Cross Border Data Clearance (CBDC) team facilitates a holistic, end-to-end compliance review of regional/cluster and country specific data transfer requirements to legitimize data transfers using the Cross Broder Automation (CBAT) tool. The Clearance Team is reviewing initiatives for final disposition/closure after the identified requirements on data privacy, bank secrecy, outsourcing and data localization are completed and met by relevant Business/Function Stakeholders. Responsibilities: + Review, analyze and approve data transfer requests across all Businesses within Citi as and when received and as defined in rules provided by respective Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM). + Perform regular Quality Assurance (QA) review on data transfer approvals as defined in the CBDC process and take appropriate action based on QA outcome. + Collaborate with ICRM, Legal and other Stakeholder in countries to document clear and actionable rules for data transfer approvals in relation to country laws and regulations. + Execute additional tasks as requested in fulfillment of the CBDC program e.g. Internal Audit deliverables, reports, ad hoc Stakeholder and Country ICRM requests etc. + Contribute to process reengineering efforts, including workflow optimization, automation and operational improvements + Troubleshoot, track, and investigate data related issues. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts and construct high-level information details/metrics + Collaborate to drive integrated transformation initiatives to streamline and simplify cross-border data clearance: ensuring swift and compliant transfers + Gather, define and deliver Country requirements for process enhancements, ensuring alignment with strategic goals + Enhance escalation frameworks for delayed or complex approvals, ensuring timely resolution + Perform a detailed analysis on the identification of issue root cause, partnering with control and process owners to recommendations holistic corrective actions and improvements Qualifications: + At least 6 years of experience working in data privacy, Compliance or the TPM/Outsourcing function. + Excellent execution, time management, and planning and organizational skills with a strong follow through discipline, to achieve defined KPIs. + Proven record of navigating multiple projects; thinking strategically but strong execution skills with keen attention to detail to address priority and competing time frame. + Strong team orientation and interpersonal skills, including ability to function proactively by anticipating priorities and requirements of Citi stakeholders. + Ability to foster working relationships with other partners across multiple lines of business and functional areas, including Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Third party management. + Knowledge of approval workflows and governance processes with demonstrated ability to achieve critical milestones. + A strong communicator who can partner with a diverse set of stakeholders to influence desired action. + Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint and Office tools.
