Job Title: Crisis Counselor

Location: Rolla, MO

Department: Recovery Services

Employment Type: Part-time

Job Summary:

The Crisis Counselor position is funded by FEMA and SAMHSA, and helps individuals emotionally recover from federally declared disasters. Services include individual/group peer counseling, emotional support, community networking, referrals, and public education.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide outreach, emotional support, education, and referrals to individuals, families, and groups.

Deliver presentations on disaster reactions and coping strategies.

Network with community partners and represent the CCP program.

Participate in data collection and training.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Must be 21 years or older.

Disaster response experience preferred.
